resolution - PPI and DPI confusion -

i trying clear confusion ppi , dpi, afaik ppi refers how much pixels screen can display per inch, , metadata included image aid printing process, , dpi practically same ppi used when referring printers.

my question is, if have image 400 ppi, , screen 400 ppi, means if print image, physical size of printed image same size of image when viewed on screen?
