Openshift: memory limit and gear stop -
the command oo-cgroup-read memory.failcnt
shows positive number after gear stop
, gear start
. 'gear stop' mean memory cleaned?
my application shows 84946 oo-cgroup-read memory.failcnt
after pushing new commit server. not know reason because before memory enough.
that number not cleared automatically, seek keeping track of , see if going application runs. indication application needs either run on larger gear, or have kind of memory leak. depending on how much memory application goes on limit, application may oom killed (out of memory) , not restart automatically, either way, it's time maybe application memory profiling, or seek installing new relic see how much memory using , might leaky.
